The joy I had "ricrei-ing" it for use in my kitchen: PRICELESS!
Now, I'm not sure I like the shape and length of this shade for this base...I'm thinking a conical shade with a more '40's, "I Love Lucy" vintage fabric will be better. Or, maybe an upturned antique colander? (What? It's in the kitchen!)
We'll live with it a while and see. ;)

Maybe a fringe or simple beaded fringe at the bottom? Its nice just the way it is though!
